Biology:

As its grey squirrel name implies this species has a grey bush tail and have small ear tufts. They usually weigh approximately 500g. They usually have three to four litter each year averaging five per litter. Maturity is reached within twelve months with a life expectancy of two years.

The grey squirrel has colonised much of Britain over the past 100 years and has moved into and colonised most urban areas
